Difference between non durable flame retardant fabric and inherent flame retardant fabric

Flame retardant fabrics can generally be divided into non durable flame retardant fabrics and inherent flame retardant fabrics. The big difference between the two fabrics is that the latter has a lasting flame retardant effect. Once it leaves the fire source, it will automatically extinguish and will not cause a secondary fire. And not afraid of washing, feel comfortable. The flame retardant effect of the former is weaker than that of the latter, and the flame retardant effect weakens or even disappears after washing.

The weaving processes of the two fabrics are quite different, so the final flame retardant effect and durability times are also very different. Inherent flame retardant fabric is woven with inherent flame retardant fiber in early weaving. It includes flame-retardant viscose, flame-retardant polyester and nitrile chlorine fiber. It has lasting flame retardant effect, which is not affected by washing, and feels soft and comfortable. We can also produce various specifications of fabrics according to customers' needs.

Non durable flame retardant fabric is made of pure cotton, polyester cotton or polyester fabric after flame retardant finishing. It has good flame retardant performance, but it is not washable, so it is not suitable for use in the field with potential fire hazards.

The obvious difference between the two is the flame retardant effect after washing. The inherent flame retardant fabric is not afraid of washing, but the non durable flame retardant fabric is not resistant to washing.

However, the quality of the two can not be compared, and the application occasions of the two flame retardant fabrics are different. When the flame-retardant fabric is the best choice for appropriate occasions, and the flame-retardant fabric can play a greater energy efficiency.
