If the moisture content of the fabric is too high, the flame retardant effect of the fabric will be good, but the handle of the fabric will be hard, and the tearing strength will be poor; If the moisture content of the fabric is small, it will lead to poor flame-retardance, poor flame retardance in washability, soft feel of fabric and good tear strength. All above will lead to indexes of pure cotton flame-retardant cloth are not up to standard. Therefore, in production, the moisture content of grey cloth should be controlled properly.
