How Many Kinds The Cotton Fabric Divided in Construction?

According to construction pure cotton fabric is divided in:

Plain fabric: flat surface, each yarn will be weaved in warp and weft. According to the thickness of yarn in warp and weft, plain fabric can be divided into heavy muslin/ middle plain and fine plain.

Twill fabric: 2/1 or 3/1 weaved in warp and weft, it shows clear 45°twill construction on surface. On the condition of same yarn count, twill fabric is thicker than plain fabric.

Satin fabric: satin fabric is using cotton as raw material which is seldom sell in market, normal sold in market is silk fabric(such as silk quilt/ tangzhuang fabric etc.) in this construction, weft and warp is shown only as floating style placed in fabric surface, and covered with another sole construction point evenly.
