1. Fabric Composition Definition
CVC stands for Chief Value Cotton, featuring higher cotton content than polyester; regular blend: 55% Cotton + 45% Polyester, matched with embedded grid conductive yarn for optional antistatic function. Most fabrics are twill/drill weave, common weight range:240–320 g/m², classic raw material for mid-range safety overalls.
- Cotton: Serves as carrier for durable cross-linked flame retardant finish, breathable, sweat-wicking, carbonizes rapidly under flame to form insulating char layer and cut off combustion.
- Polyester: Reinforces fabric tensile strength, anti-wrinkle and low-shrink property, improves shape retention and service life versus pure cotton overalls.
2. Core Functional Performance
(1) Flame Retardant Property
Adopts Proban THPC durable cross-link FR finishing. FR ingredients bond chemically inside cotton fiber, LOI≥28, remains effective after ≥50 industrial washes. The garment self-extinguishes quickly once away from open fire; charred cotton wraps polyester to restrict large molten dripping.
(2) Optional Antistatic Performance
Conductive filament forms continuous conductive network across fabric. Surface resistance controlled at 10⁶~10¹¹ Ω, compliant with EN 1149‑5 to release static charge and avoid spark ignition in flammable gas/dust hazardous areas.
3. Applied EU Safety Standards (CE certification required)
4. Garment Structure Design of Bib Overall
- Widened adjustable FR shoulder suspenders with durable plastic buckles; full front chest flap enhances anti-spatter protection for chest and abdomen during welding.
- Double-layer reinforced fabric at knees with inner pockets for removable knee pads; multi-functional thigh cargo pockets for tools, tape measure and pens.
- All accessories including snaps, binding and whole-piece sewing thread are flame resistant; adjustable ankle cuffs prevent hot debris entering trouser legs.
5. Application Range
General arc welding, machinery manufacturing, steel processing, petrochemical maintenance, oil depot inspection and light metallurgy daily protection.
6. Advantages & Drawbacks
Advantages
- Balanced cost and comfort: more breathable than high-poly TC overalls, more economical than modacrylic or aramid FR overalls.
- Good stiffness and wrinkle resistance, easy laundry and long-term shape stability, ideal for bulk export orders.
Disadvantages
FR performance belongs to chemical after-treatment instead of inherent fiber FR; flame resistance gradually declines after over 80–100 frequent heavy washes. Moderate polyester ingredient brings slight molten drip under extreme intensive high-temperature splash, unsuitable for heavy-duty close-range smelting.

Measurements are in inches.
Hint: For the most accurate results, measure yourself in your undergarments.
Neck: Measure around the base of your neck, inserting your forefinger between the tape and your neck to allow ease in fit.
Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping tape firmly under your armpits and around your shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around your waist, slightly below your natural waist, where you normally wear your pants. Insert your forefinger between the tape and your body to allow ease in fit.
