

Fire retardant measures are necessary because of the high probability of fire in public places. However, the variety and specification of flame retardant products vary in different places due to regional and cultural differences. In view of this, after several expert discussions, it is determined to test the flame retardant property of flame retardant products according to the following classification.
1. Flame retardant building products: building materials of the same material and the same structure, if the thickest and thinnest materials can meet the requirements of a certain level at the same time, the materials with the thickness between them can also be considered to meet the requirements of this level. (flame retardant flooring materials: if the thickest and thinnest flame retardant flooring materials can meet the requirements of a certain level at the same time, the flame retardant flooring materials with thickness between them can also meet the requirements of this level.)
2. Flame retardant fabric: the same material, if the maximum and minimum surface density of flame retardant fabric can meet the requirements of a certain level at the same time, the flame retardant fabric products with surface density between them can also meet the requirements of this level.
4. Flame retardant foam: in the case of the same density, if the thickest and thinnest foam products can meet the requirements of a certain level at the same time, it can be considered that the thickness of the foam products also meets the requirements of this level.
5. Fire-retardant furniture/components: furniture/components of the same material and the same structure. If the furniture/components of a large specification meet the requirements of a certain level through inspection, furniture/components of other specifications smaller than it can be considered to also meet the requirements of the grade.
6. Wire and cable: if the same type of cable with the same structure (the same inner and outer sheath, armored layer, filling material and insulation material) can meet the requirements of a certain level at the same time, the products with the inner and outer diameter can also be considered to meet the requirements of this level.
