Anti Arc Damage “Ten Guidelines”

(1) Recognize the classification of anti arc clothing. One type is anti arc garments, which is used by the staff for electrical operation; the other is anti arc workwear, which are mainly jackets and pleated trousers, which can be used as daily work clothes.

(2) Anti arc garments is a personal safety protection product used for on-site operation, and it is required to wear on the spot operation of high voltage equipment.

(3) Anti arc workwear can be worn when running inspections, overhaul tests, line inspections, maintenance, rush repairs, and electrical work.

(4) When wearing anti arc garments, it must be matched with arc shield, insulating gloves and high tube insulating boots (shoes). Anti arc garments does not have insulation function. It is strictly prohibited to use anti arc garments as insulation clothing.

(5) In the process of using anti arc clothing, it may reduce the sensitivity to the damage of the arc because of the superior performance of the anti arc products and the characteristics of the arc, and it is easy to produce paralytic psychology. It is imperative to overcome the carelessness in working, keep vigilance against the hazards of electric arc and strictly enforce the electric switching operation regulations.

(6) Anti arc clothing should be stored in a light, dry and clean place and maintained at room temperature below 40 degrees Celsius. A special wardrobe is set up by hanging and hanging. If it is restricted by storage space, it can also be folded in a special cabinet.

(7) The anti arc clothing conforms to one of the following items: ① any part of the anti arc clothing is bleached, the appearance inspection is damaged, cracked and cut and damaged in the frontal projection range, ② the anti arc clothing will expand rapidly, carbonized and thickened to achieve the effect of flame retardancy in the occurrence of arc accidents. The material organization has changed and should be discarded; ③ beyond the service life after the factory is out of the factory; ④ the fire retardant and protective performance of the same batch product shall be lost.

(8) Arcing burns is an acute skin injury caused by arcing hyperthermia. According to the burn depth, it can be divided into one degree burn, two degree burn and three degree burn.

(9) When a high voltage arc is struck, the power switch should be cut off. If the power switch can not be cut off, the insulation tool suitable for the voltage level should be used so that the electric shock is out of the power supply.

(10) Emergency treatment of electric shock and electric arc burn wounded after disengagement from power (to hospital): acupuncture or pinching, ten Xuan and Yongquan acupoints for mild coma or weak breathing, and hospital treatment; and artificial respiration should be used immediately after electric shock without breathing but heart beating. Rescue; for breathing but the heart stopped beating, then immediately use the chest external heart pressure method for rescue; if the electric shock and breathing have stopped, the use of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for treatment.
