How to Test The FR Property of FR Welder Garment in EN11611?

EN11611 is the news welder clothing European standard, replacing the previous EN470-1 standard.

Test requirement and method:

“Heat and fire proof protective clothing--test method for limited flame spread.”

Test method description:

The test sample has been put in the sample holder, put the fire under the bottom of sample and then remove the fire after 10 seconds.

The success or failure of the trial is determined by the following data: afterflame, afterflame time, afterglow, afterglow time, flaming debris, molten debris, char length, the hols in the sample.
